I knew I had ordsprog

en I knew I had to step up and do more for my team. We just wanted to come out and play a mistake-free game.

en I feel very comfortable with Anthony. It doesn't mean he'll play a mistake-free ball game. Heck, even Tom Brady doesn't play a mistake-free ball game. He needs to go out and work the design and play the way he's capable of playing.

en It's been nothing short of magical for us. But, to be honest, I think we can play with them. We're going to have to step up our level of play, and we're going to have to play awfully, awfully mistake-free basketball.

en We huddled up quickly, and we knew that we couldn't do anything about [the injury], and we just had to win the game. We wanted to prove that we can play no matter what. J.R. is a great player, but when J.R. can't play, someone else has to step up.

en You just want to play well and rebound well after a bad game. Sometimes a team doesn't play that well and a goalie has to step up. If a player makes a mistake, the goalie has to stop (the shot). And it goes the other way around.

en Free throws, free throws, free throws. We were short-handed and we couldn't sub as much as we wanted to. That's when we decided to go with Matt. We knew he could step in there and knock down some big shots.

en We talked about it before the game that we wanted to grow up tonight. We wanted to not be just another young team; we wanted to step up and let this be the game that we were going to go on and kind of move ahead with the development of this team.

en I was more hurt than anything. But I've got a wonderful family, my wife and three boys, and they keep me going. They love me whether I'm playing this game or not. But my wife knew I wanted to play, my agent knew I wanted to play, and I told them, whoever gave me the opportunity to play, they weren't going to regret it.

en This was a tough game to get up for tonight. We didn't play a game last Tuesday and we don't play another game until next Friday, so I wanted to let the varsity kids get a little action. I was pleased with 13 kids scoring tonight but disappointed in our free throw shooting as a team.

en They're a great team. But we knew the game was at home, and when they don't hit 15 3's, we can play with them. That was a big difference. We finally wanted a game more. I'm glad we lost to them before.

en His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. I definitely knew he was who they were going to. The game dictates when you have to step up and make a big play. It was great team effort. That's what we need to win games.

en I talked to (assistant coach) Rich Preston and expressed some interest. I knew I wanted to come back here and wanted to make sure they knew that. It worked out well. I enjoyed playing here, I love the city and liked the guys here. I looked at the team, watched them play in the playoffs. It was something I wanted to be a part of.

en We couldn't get any shots. They did a great job boxing us out. I feel at this point we can play with anybody but we've got to play a mostly mistake-free game.

en He fits perfectly as far as the type of kid we want to sign, and being a local kid that we got to see for several years. Over time you see a kid play mistake-free baseball, make all the plays and do the little things well and he grows on you and grows on you. He's gonna be fine. He'll step right in and play for us.

en If he doesn't play the way he does, we're not even in that situation. He had a great game. That free throw didn't win or lose the ball game. There were plays throughout the game ... where it's a turnover or we don't block out, it's a mental mistake. You can't just boil it right down to the end.
