They have ignored science, research and scholarly analysis in parks. They have ignored the preferences of the American people. We have little confidence that they will pay much attention to the comments currently being received from the public on the draft policies unless they are the comments they want to hear.

While we received comments from major CSR and SRI groups--for whom this is an important issue--we did not receive comments from any of the organizations focused on shareholder activism. Of course the standard is being published as an exposure draft, so we are still looking for comments and will be piloting it to seek feedback over the next 12 or more months.

He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. It will be open to anyone who wants to make comments or participate in the rules and policies that will be the details of the ordinance. I think it's wonderful that people have taken the time to write down their comments and tell us how they feel. I can't speak for the board, but I think we need to address every one of these comments.

Part of it was that we have a lot of people who visit it regularly, and we wanted to refresh the look. And also we had been tracking the comments from people who said 'I don't like this' or 'I think this would work better,' so we took all the comments and tried to make it a little more navigation-friendly.

We aren't making any public comments because of pending litigation and are waiting to hear from our attorneys about what we can and can't do.

If additional information is required as a result of the input received during the public comment period, they will communicate that as well. Also, everyone who made a public comment or asked to be included on the department's mailing list concerning this issue will receive a copy of the response to comments.

We received no negative comments and after reviewing the information from the public hearing last week, we concluded the fire district will be a benefit to Rock Creek and to the county as a whole.
