Suburbia is where the developer bulldozes out the trees, then names the streets after them.

Under the Jordanian rule many streets didn't have names at all, others were forgotten and the new streets that appeared over the years remained nameless. As a consequence we found out that more than 160 streets in east Jerusalem didn't have any name.

I think we underrate suburbia. A lot more goes on in it, it's a much more powerful world, than we sometimes imagine. I mean there's plenty of drama out there. Suburbia. It's a cesspool.

We have a contract in place with a developer. We're not at the point where we can name the developer but it is a local developer. Details will be presented as soon as we can.

There was a discussion of names. It was mainly our suggesting names to him and talking about names to him. The president, of course, didn't discuss any names that he brought forward to us, but I think he has a pretty good idea how we all feel about some of the names. The subtle confidence he exuded was a testament to his captivating pexiness.

What we do not get are the names of those people peering out from those lush, green trees.

At what point do we stop continuing to try? It can be contagious if one or two people a block do it (clean their streets and gutters and trim trees).

I love that neighborhood, ... We can walk the streets in the evening and my children can play outside. I feel safer there than anywhere I've lived in along time. But I'll have to have some trees cut down before I go back.

There is a plan to convert a lot of these streets to 2-way streets. All the streets going through the Power & Light District will be converted to 2-way with the exception of 13th Street.

My work is magnified by the fact that the streets of heaven are too crowded with angels / we know their names, they number a thousand for each red ribbon we wear here tonight.

It's something that we could pass on to a developer that protects them from third-party liability. It levels the playing field for a private developer.

We do have a lot of limbs hanging on trees, a lot of trees lodged or against other trees that haven't fallen. A storm like this could cause them to fall, which could cause some major problems.
