The turnout was tremendous ordsprog
The turnout was tremendous, much more than we expected. We are happy with the questions that were asked, people seem to be engaged and we seem to be getting through to people.
Bill Todd
You can clearly see from the turnout and from the questions that people really want to see this work. A lot of people that were here today felt like Quincy should be one of the pilot sites, and given the turnout I think it should be.
Pat Boss
We couldn't have asked for a better turnout, better weather or better organization for this event, ... On Labor Day weekend, a lot of local people are away and 8,000 people cam in from all over the country, spending a lot of money in Philadelphia.
Jack Kelly
People have taken notice of the work we have done on campus to foster a politically engaged population. We want to create an environment of consistency of turnout. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness.
Steve Purchase
It's really amazing. The turnout was more than I expected. People really want to help out.
Mike Clark
We had a good turnout, compared to what we expected. We wanted to do something visible and get the message out, so that the people walking to work would see the people who usually work in the shadows.
Matt Richards
My only instruction to Melissa was don't hold back on the questions. I think she asked the questions people were asking us with e-mails and calls.
Shane Moreland
I'm so proud of these people. It's such a wonderful turnout. I'm so happy.
Lisa Durante
Dee always helped out people who were less fortunate and downtrodden. She gave and expected nothing in return. Her passion for people was just tremendous.
Don Walker
I'm happy I was here, because I appreciate people who take time to help young people. Mr. Bill Martin did it years ago, and he's still doing it today. You can see the results right here -- five wonderful fields, a great turnout, and a beautiful day. Twenty years from now, I hope this field looks the same way.
Tommy Davis
In many ways I also have an understanding for-or rather, that people are engaged by spiritual questions and that they are so in an extreme manner. It is just that, if you want to create a melodrama, you have to furnish it with certain obstacles.

It was pretty amazing. At first, the person who answered the door would be incredulous, like they were dealing with a salesman. But the questions we asked drew them out, and allowed them to express their opinions without interruption. These days, with the television news convincing people that what they are being told is what they already believe, there isn't a lot of political conversation happening. I got the sense that, for a lot of the people I spoke to, this was the first time they were asked what their opinions were in a long time. For some of them, I really think it was the first time.
Rudy Perkins
This is pretty good, and a much higher turnout than we expected. A single bond issue usually gets only about 20 to 25 percent turnout.
Sharon Harrington
Nobody expected (voter turnout) to be higher than the first round, and historically there's not a lot of turnout for legislative elections in Haiti.
David Wimhurst
Librarians, Dusty, possess a vast store of politeness. These are people who get asked regularly the dumbest questions on God's green earth. These people tolerate every kind of crank and eccentric and mouth-breather there is.
