The reason we're winning is we're making foul shots, limiting our fouls and defending every [opposing] possession.

We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.

We were 7-for-18 from the foul line. Coming down the stretch, a couple of those foul shots would have made it a one possession game and it would have been a lot more interesting.

We gave them too many shots. They had a lot of second and third chances. We need to do a better job limiting them to one shot per possession.

We were down nine at the half, and we missed five foul shots which would have made it four down at the half and a two possession game. Our foul shooting definitely hurt us.

For whatever reason we were obviously in some foul trouble. I don't want to talk about the fouls anymore.

Obviously, she's 6-6, so she's going to have some advantages inside. She's going to be their go-to focus so we need to work on defending that and forcing the lob -- playing in front and pushing back. Our biggest key is staying out of foul trouble and not to picking up silly fouls and bailing her out.

What I would like to do is get some of their big people in foul trouble. I'm sure that, with their size, they probably try to block a lot of shots. So, hopefully, we can draw a lot of fouls.

They commit the fewest fouls in the league. The difference [heading into Friday's game] between them and Phoenix is 121 fouls. Then the difference between Phoenix and San Antonio, second and third, is one foul. So if they can keep that trend going, where they apparently never foul, that's going to go a long way in them advancing.

We commit some of the dumbest fouls I've ever seen. I just don't think other teams foul as much as we do. And then we complain to the refs about it, too. That's the worst part. First we commit a stupid foul, then we complain. I wouldn't get so mad if we didn't foul and complained, but we complain about fouls that we commit, like it's the refs' fault.

They did a great job double-teaming me. I got in foul trouble, my shots weren't going down, and things just weren't working my way. I tried to be as aggressive as I could, but they were defending me very well. I finally got some shots to go down late in the game when it seemed like it didn't matter anymore.

Tyson's done the best job [defending O'Neal]. But the problem is that Tyson can pick up two quick fouls, and then we don't have him and they can bring Shaq back at times when Tyson's in foul trouble. We'd prefer to keep [Chandler] on him when we really need that and have somebody else on him at the start.

I think that we came out tight and nervous. We weren't making our shots, but I told the girls that we had to keep defending and rebounding. Eventually, we had a few shots fall and then everyone seemed to relax.

I don't get on 'em for fouls unless it's a real stupid foul. Aggressive fouls, I'll take those all day.
