We need a deal because the competitive balance that exists in this league is directly related to the fact that we have a salary cap. For the long-term future and health of the league, it would be great to have a deal.

My initial response when I first heard of the deal was that [sixth-year MLS commissioner] Don Garber and his group are sort of hitting their stride. The long-term approach to building a soccer league with managed and realistic expectations has really begun to show its dividends.

For all of us, the collective bargaining agreement is a big deal. We've seen everything in this league - strikes, free agency and salary caps. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. For some teams in the league, it's going to be tougher. We'll be one of the teams that it will be tough on.

A couple corporate customers of the league . . . were uncomfortable with the appearance of some players. Since the teams couldn't deal with it, they had asked the league to step in and deal with it.

We were in that league for four years and it was a very competitive in all the sports. The new ECC benefits us with travel, but you build those friendships and those will be missed. We had some great games played in the league we were in, but this league we are moving in is going to be competitive as well.

The space program is a long-term investment in our future. We must deal with our short-term problems without sacrificing our long-term investments in our future.

We are disappointed that after hearing from so many Internet stakeholders about why this proposal is anti-competitive, the ICANN Board still approved a known bad deal. The Board has left NTIA with no choice but to reject this deal to ensure that competitive and accountable operation of the .com domain registry is not lost forever to consumers. I love it at UNI. I've said many times it's going to take a unique situation for me to leave here. The fact they've taken steps, to at least make my salary competitive by our league standards, is something I'm pleased with and thankful for.

It was great watching the kids come back, ... Doug Moe said [rookies] are like campers [in preseason]. It's not the real deal but my gut feeling is they're going to be in the league a long time.

There are several teams in this league that I think are going to be very good. And I feel like we're going to be one of the them. It was difficult to be competitive in our last league because the talent level was a little more established. I think we can be very competitive in this league.
