This is the same feeling we've had for the last couple of weeks. We've done something tremendous and the fans have had our backs, win or lose the whole year. It's good to see they're not only here when we're winning, but when we lose too.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

I'm still working through some stuff. This is not going to go on forever. I should have things cleared up in a couple, three weeks in my own mind.

Mike Holmgren (1948-)

They're young kids so they become lackadaisical, and they think that things will be easy for them forever, and they lose intensity. That's how they were able to come back there a couple times.

There's a lot of talent here. We can be as good as we want. If we ever lose a game, it's us losing it. We're giving it away because we have great players on offense. There should be teams that come up with turnovers and things like that, but there should be no team that shuts us out for three and a half quarters. . . . So this has not been a good 2 1/2 weeks for me. It was more of just a shock of losing someone, the one who got me started in the game. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. The last couple of weeks have been just kind of like a robot going along.

I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

It's been a couple weeks since they ran with us and we're very happy with how they did. It made a world of difference having that first meet under their belt a couple weeks ago. They ran a lot more relaxed than they did the first time they ran.

He feels it. I think it's a spot, not an entire area, which I think is somewhat good news. I don't think he's going to be available the next couple of nights. I don't think this is something that turns out to be a couple of weeks. We'll continue to evaluate it.

When he first came to the team, he caught on to our offense real quick. It usually takes a couple of months, but it only took him a couple of weeks. I knew he was going to be a good player right there.
