(Osborne) is pretty special. He might be as good as any we've had in the infield, and he's only a sophomore. It's kind of scary to think how good he could be.

To do special things you need have special players and special performances. Obviously you saw one tonight from Chris Lofton. We did a pretty good job of getting him open and guys did a pretty good job of turning shots down to get him shots because he (Lofton) clearly had a pretty good chance of making what he put up.

That was huge. We practice our two minute offense a bunch being a throwing team. We executed really well. It fell together pretty good. What can you say about that sophomore quarterback (Matt Brown). He did a darn good job and he took some shots tonight. He's a tough nut and he's a good kid. He's getting to be a pretty good quarterback. He's really come a long way.

It's ABC baseball — get 'em on, get 'em over and get 'em in. Our pitching has come around pretty good. Our infield is pretty solid. Everything is coming together pretty good.

I think things will come around the way we expect very soon. We should be good defensively because we've got kids with good hands and quick feet. The infield is looking pretty good right now and the outfield is starting to solidify.

Both of those guys have done well for their teams over the past year. I know Conway hit pretty well and runs pretty good. Kuehn is a kid we've liked for a long time. He's very versatile. He's caught some and played the infield. We think he can be a good player.

It's been kind of hard because we've had to use three sophomores to replace one senior. They're doing a pretty good job, but they still make sophomore mistakes.

We made a couple of good plays with the infield in and we were able to get the fly ball with two outs, and we kind of dodged a bullet. I was glad to get in there. Happy to get in the game. Pretty pleased with the result.

For a sophomore, she has very good hands, as far as catching the ball and a nice touch around the basket. She has a good sense of maturity for a sophomore you don't see all the time. She's been a solid team player. When people collapse on her, she looks to kick it out.
