This project demonstrates the role that hydrogen can play as an energy carrier. One of the biggest challenges with wind power is that unused energy can not be stored for later use when the wind isn't blowing. Hydrogen solves this problem. Prices received rising so much is the first sign that businesses have increased power to pass on these energy-price increases. Energy will shortly be a major factor in the inflation equation, and this is what the Fed is worried about, so expect policy makers to keep pushing interest rates higher.

We believe that the wholesale power market is broken. Out- of-state generators are charging us outrageous prices. We don't make a profit on the power we buy from out-of-state generators. We are basically paying out 15, 18, 40 cents a kilowatt hour and we're only allowed to collect about a nickel from our customers.

After careful review, I have concluded that there was such a failure that this was an intentional an illegal attempt to circumvent the law and that it was designed to benefit big energy companies at the expense of the public health.

Even with more conservation and energy-efficiency programs, energy use will continue to grow as more people move to this region. To meet that growing demand for electricity, we'll need to add significant new power generation.
