It's a great matchup. Both teams have been eyeing each other all season long, from the very first ballgame we played.

Ballgame? What a ballgame. We didn't draw it up like that, but we will take this. A great win for us, and it has been one thing after another all season long. It has been a grind-it-out kind of season for us, and we'll take whatever comes next.

It was just a great ballgame. Both teams came out and played hard.

Last season we played one of the toughest schedules in Class L. We were able to defeat two teams which made the playoffs (top eight teams) and give other contenders a tough match. We were truly competitive all season long.

It will be a big matchup. I'm sure Rocky believes they've got a great matchup there. They've got talented receivers and that's got to be a big part of their game plan.

I just have a lot of respect for Terry. He played without a mask. It just means a lot to me to be up there with him and the other greats that have played that long. It's a tribute to all the guys I've played with, all the great teams I've played on.

This is one of the strangest seasons I've experienced, ... For whatever reason we've just been inconsistent all season long. I don't know if we can get that fixed in time [for the playoffs] but we're about to find out. This is the matchup everyone wanted to see though, so let's tip it off and see what happens.

It was a well-played, hard-fought ballgame all the way throughout. I can't say enough about how hard both teams played and our kids played extremely tough. It was fun to watch, but unfortunately, we came out on the bottom end of it.

It was a great season, and we really played like a team. When you lose like that, it hurts for a long time. But when you win like that, it gets you ready for the next season. We've been there before.

Both of us, you know, we came from a long way throughout the season. Now we're both great teams.

This win was a great way to end the season. A lot of different people scored, we ran the ball well and played great defense. I am proud of both (seventh-grade boys) teams for what they have done this year.

We played the best game we've played all year. Everybody uses Trinity as a measuring stick. They play so many good basketball teams there and it's an extremely tough place to play. We played extremely well and should have won the ballgame. Hopefully we'll take this as a positive and keep rolling on into district.

Their offensive line doesn't get enough credit. They played a heck of a game in the Super Bowl. They work well as a unit. The strength of our defense is our front four. That's going to be a great matchup.

This title was our goal all season long and that's all we thought about. I think we'd all love to come back and do it again. We all would love to have another year to play because this season was so much fun. But the way we won it and how we played all season long will do just fine. Fantastic. I didn't even know that. That's fantastic. Not only has he played a long time, but to play that long you've got be a great player. It's like a lifetime. Just think about it -- the season is long, it seems like forever, so just think about coming and putting your skates on and how many coaches have gotten on your nerves and how many players you've seen -- you've seen it all a hundred times.
