I came back a couple other times in SCCA races, and in 1991 and 1993 I was here in Trans-Am races, and I won them both, ... But those races I won were in more of a sedan-type car. I have great memories of this track.

He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. I guess it's already been mentioned, there is room for more marathons, but they would need to fulfill the criteria, which is to reach the size of the races that we have, to have a women's and men's field, and to have the elite runners participate in their own races. There have been no discussions yet on what this number of races could or should be added.

This was a good first race for us. Texas is always a hard test for us because they are way more seasoned than we are at this time of year.The races taught the new novice kids to push a lot harder. We are now ready to get going and prepare for our home races.

I still have the desire and ability to win races, but a little burnout is beginning to set in. I may drive a few races next year if someone needs a substitute driver, but it's time to freshen up and do some things with my family that I have put off for a lot of years.

It's been such a competitive season. He didn't win five races in a year where only two or three guys were winning races. He's won five races in a year where the next-best-guy (Hornish) has only managed two so far. That's very impressive.

It's definitely a long shot. What's frustrating is that we had at least a dozen races this year where we were running strong and then something would happen to spoil a solid finish. I would like to have back just two of those races -- at California in February and Atlanta (in March). Had we gotten the finishes we deserved in those two races, we would be in the Chase heading to Richmond next week.

I get Canadian TV at home and the newspapers, and people know, whether it's Formula One or Champ Car or whatever, Canadian races are some of the best promoted, best attended, most enjoyable races. Canadians have a passion for racing.

Being from the northeast, I've known Ricky Craven for years and look forward to being his crew chief. This is a great opportunity for me to move into this position with an organization like Roush. The team has so much potential and with 10 races remaining there is plenty of time to win a few races yet this season.

The breakfast was started as a symbol to promote friendship and harmony among the races in this community. Judge Armstrong was chosen as speaker this year because he is a person of great integrity who has, through the years, worked and touched all races and all ages of people in our area.

I ask myself why would I retire and its because I don't like running 36 races. I hate running 36 races. I don't like being away from home that much.
