en Southern California is the endangered species hot spot in the continental United States. We are continuing to add population. It sets up a collision course between the Endangered Species Act and land use.

A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. While most would consider a less-than-one-percent recovery rate a failure, many environmentalists apparently consider it good enough to continue the status quo.

en It isn't the policy of the Department of Fish and Game to issue free fishing licenses to anybody because of age. It is just something we aren't authorized to do.
