That's the best Sam has played this year. It was nice to see her step up and do that. She's been a little inconsistent with her shot, tonight she couldn't miss.

From the tip, we were just on fire. Last year, we couldn't buy a bucket (at the Coliseum); I remember that. This year, we couldn't miss a shot, everybody was rebounding - it was awesome.

They hung off a little bit, and I was feeling confident about my shot tonight so I liked them stepping off a bit. I got a little bit tired, so it's always nice to have people step off and give you the open shot.

It's been a long year, a frustrating year. But if that's been the problem, I'll continue to work hard on it. To pitch the way I did today, that's the reason why, I believe. Having inconsistent mechanics resulted in inconsistent velocity and inconsistent arm angles. The bottom line is, I've been inconsistent on the mound.

We had some nice shooting tonight. We were also boxing out better. We have been having a hard time doing that this year, but tonight you could see them doing a good job locating an opponent on a miss and getting the rebound.

We played against a very good team tonight. We knew we could compete with them and we did. It's never nice to lose but my hat goes off to my guys who stuck it out and played together all season, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

That was one of the few shots that go through. Chris did a nice job fending off the defenseman and getting off a nice shot. Tonight was the first game he played up front for us. He's been our fourth defenseman, but with all the injuries, I had no choice but to put him up there. It worked out pretty well for us.

I played really well for eight holes and did not miss a shot. I am still in it as I have not done too much damage. I was behind last year and came through, so it can be done.

On the offensive end, if we couldn't get into our sets and execute we were going to have problems. I don't know what (Gardner) shot in the first half but they were smoking. They were hot. You just keep thinking you can hold on and they'll cool down a little bit, but they didn't miss and we played catch-up the whole night.

That makes it all the more sweeter that we got to win this one tonight. We've developed a nice little rivalry with Grants, but I'm not going to miss them, and I'm sure they're not going to miss us either, because we've had the upper hand. We played very well tonight. We shot the ball well, this was a nice game to come back with after a tough loss to Lawrence North.

We're all trying to get as many wins as possible and they took a major step with the win tonight. I thought they played tremendous defense on us. We couldn't make shots the way we normally do.

Dustin and Griffin played really well on the trap tonight. Dustin really stepped up offensively and did a pretty nice job. I think we shot pretty well tonight and just got it done.

The kids worked their tails off tonight and played a great game. All the credit goes to Mountain Heritage, they made a big shot there at the end and we couldn't put them away.

First time she's ever played varsity and she stepped up and did a nice job. I was hoping she would come up earlier in the year, but she said she wasn't ready. Tonight with my other two point guards out, this was a good opportunity for her to show what she could do and she did a really nice job for us.
