[Book publisher] Tim O'Reilly has talked about the importance of architectures for participation. The value of building an architecture to allow participation was never more clear than reading (and responding!) to thousands of these emails.

Doing this kind of integration and building an architecture like this is a necessary stepping stone toward building lots of different types of devices. You could imagine all types of different digital appliances that have very similar architectures.

The Drive for Diversity program has proven very beneficial for Kodak, which has a strong corporate commitment to diversity and inclusion. Joe Henderson III has been an excellent competitor and a fine ambassador of our brand. Our participation in this program helps us connect with regional racing fans, and dovetails with our participation in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup racing. We look forward to continuing our participation in Drive for Diversity.

I don't think I've quite grasped the concept of thousands and thousands of people actually seeing me and actually reading the book. It's still hard for me to believe that people that don't know me are actually reading this. It blows me away.

It's all about the data, gang; it's not about the storage. The world is changing, we are moving from the era of the Internet age into the participation age, where everyone is on the Internet and everyone is a publisher, an editor.

I was glad to have so much participation. The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills. That's why it doesn't hurt to be so close to another candidate. With so much participation, people have had a chance to be heard. If I don't make it, I don't make it. It's not the end of the world.

It's 100 percent participation. All of the residents that are affected are participating. And I certainly want to thank everybody for that 100 percent participation. It's going to give us a true indication of what happened because now we can test-bore everywhere.

At this point, the project doesn't pencil out without state participation. State participation would help make something happen sooner and larger. It would help us get to critical mass.

Our goal has always been to foster industry participation in the usage and development of the Java technology, while preserving a unified platform. The new model achieves that balance while opening participation to anyone and enabling collaboration among the participants. This guarantees far more rapid innovation than ever before possible.

I always view a really large foreign participation number as being a dangerous thing. If you're looking at somebody who is maybe not a natural buyer or a long-term buyer, the danger is that if it takes that participation to make them (the deals) just go OK, what happens when they don't show up?

The idea of One Book, One Community is to encourage participation by other organizations in the giving community. A mock trial seems like it would be a great tie-in to this book.
