Maybe one day I'll get it, but right now I'm content with getting three hits. It's fun right now. Everybody on the team is swinging the bats well and it's just fun. I always said we were going to get on a roll like this, and here we go.

We weren't swinging the bats really well. Southern has a great pitching staff and probably the best hitting team they've had, and we held them to only eight hits all weekend.

We've been swinging the bats great lately. We've been outhitting most of our opponents. Most of the time we haven't been getting the big hits. Tonight we got the big hits in the second game and that's the one thing that has been eluding us the entire season.

I was getting the hits, but I haven't had consistent at-bats. I've been a bit jumpy. I've been swinging at some bad pitches. Instead of having quality at-bats, I give some away. That's part of the game. I'm just trying to be consistent.

We've got to get the bats going. Four runs in 33 innings is not going to do it. We're not facing Randy Johnson out there or Curt Schilling. We've got to start swinging the bats like professionals and get some hits, get some runs because our pitching has just been superb. He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness. We've got to get the bats going. Four runs in 33 innings is not going to do it. We're not facing Randy Johnson out there or Curt Schilling. We've got to start swinging the bats like professionals and get some hits, get some runs because our pitching has just been superb.

I thought in the second inning we had some really big hits and that kind of set the tone for the game. It was great to see some guys come through with some clutch hitting. I think we showed that we're capable of being a good offensive team when everybody's clicking and swinging the bats the way that they can.

These guys are on a roll swinging the bats right now. It's contagious. They really feed off one another at the plate.

I try to figure this team out, and if I could, I'd be a genius. We're all swinging the bats well at the same time, or we're all not swinging the bats well at the same time.

We've scored just two runs in the last 18 innings. We're not swinging the bats like we need to. We're not stringing the hits together.

The kids did fight hard, they didn't do a bad job swinging the bats. I wish we would have a few more hits than we did.

We're still swinging the bats well. We're hitting the ball hard and getting hits at the right times.

Our team is based on guys feeding off each other and it is fun to watch. Right now we're swinging the bats well. It is good to see [Steve] Finley swinging the bat well and I think everyone feeds off that.

We did get some hits, but we left guys on base. We're just not swinging the bats the way we need to. But everyone we're putting out there on the mound is doing a great job.

Hopefully everybody starts swinging the bats better. Our bats are not where we want them right now. Half of the team is not hitting that good, but we're finding ways to win some games -- and that's the most important thing.

We're swinging the bats right now up and down the lineup. We've got so many guys who can put the ball in play and make things happen. We're running the bases well. Even some of the juniors who are waiting to play are swinging the bats well.
