en Research shows that early literacy is critical. Students who come from more affluent, better educated families have a better chance in the early years to become literate. Education is significantly about opportunity, and our students have these opportunities and make good use of them.

en For so many years we've prepared our students to go into higher education and they rarely returned to the community. Hopefully, our students will now be educated here and go to work here.

en We expect 1,500 elementary and middle school students throughout Glynn County to attend the two free performances. These are very popular and always fill up early. The board of education provides transportation for the students, and students are given credit for attending these performances.
