en Our kids challenge each other every day. Our success has brought confidence. And they've earned all of it.

en He's been through some wars. He's earned that right. Last year, he was a part of the team. He was a reason why we had a lot of success. He brought the best out of me. I hope I brought the best out of him.

en He's really gaining confidence. His health, for one, has contributed to his confidence and number two, having some success knocking down shots. That goes a long way. He's been challenged and he's answered those challenges. To take a step, you've either got to challenge yourself or answer the challenges that have been thrown at you, and he's done that.

en I think he has a lot more confidence . . . because you gain that confidence each year you are in it as a head coach. He's more confident because he's had success. In coaching, success breeds success.

en It's not like there haven't been times when we have brought in other long-snappers. The guy we brought in is good. He's the best guy we've brought in to challenge Mike.

en When we can mix in our young kids in the relays, that's always good. We do that whenever we can. Nothing helps your confidence like success.

en We have the facilities. The biggest challenge is getting kids out to the rink. Maybe between what we did in Salt Lake City and what we did here, we'll see the results of our success 20 years from now.

en This is the first time that we will play a team with kids their size. We'll probably have to stop their run right away. It's a big challenge for us defensively. Hopefully, the kids will rise to the challenge.

en Confidence is a very fragile thing, and it certainly is something that has to start with your mental approach and your ability to respond and stay focused and not allow negative thoughts to enter into your own mind. When you're successful, it's easier to expect success. All of a sudden it's not there, it becomes more of a challenge.

en I think we're starting to peak at the right time. The kids brought a lot of intensity tonight. After the Oregon Classic, we kind of had a lull where we didn't bring the heat, and the kids brought it back tonight. They all stepped up and wrestled hard.
