It was a very good night for us. Kendra Reimer's hat trick was wonderful and Emily Saillant broke out of her scoring slump, and we're very excited for her.

We finally broke out of our scoring slump, which was nice to see. Unfortunately, we couldn't hold them.

We are truly honored to have General Reimer join our Board of Directors. With an extensive and honorary career in the military, General Reimer will provide great insight towards two of our key focus areas, Defense Transformation and Homeland Defense.

This was a night for championships. Texas did a great job, wonderful job, all night. We had to keep scoring all night to outscore them. They were great champions tonight. If you have to step aside for somebody tonight, they're the team to do that for.

I'm excited about adding Emily and Katie to the program. They will both have an immediate impact on the lineup. Katie is a tough defender who is aggressive and has strong tackling skills. Emily is a proven goal scorer who is excellent at bringing other players into the game.

Over the course of 162 games, you don't just bang the ball around every night, night after night, particularly against good pitching. And when you get in a slump, you don't do it against bad pitching.

I think their team was designed for clutch-and-grab, tight defence and good goaltending. I don't think Paul Kariya will be the answer by scoring enough goals to make a difference. In 2004, they made the playoffs for the first time and a lot of it was their goaltender. Can he be as good night after night after night? I don't think so.

I don't recall ever scoring a natural hat trick before. I didn't know what a natural hat trick was until this year.

I don't want to jinx us, but we kind of broke out of our shooting slump. Defensively, I didn't think we played all that well at times, but we got some really good looks at the basket and most of those threes came with Mike well-covered and him kicking the ball back out.

It was a good job by Dani for a few innings and then a great job by Emily. Killian made a great play at the end that helped keep them from scoring.

Joe has good feet, . Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. .. If something broke down, I felt he could get away easily. The other night (against DeSoto) he got a bad snap, made this guy miss and that guy miss, and before you knew it, he broke it to the sidelines for about 30 yards.

He's a great player. He's got great hands and he's got speed. He wants the puck all the time. He got three goals and he will be in the Hall of Fame if keeps scoring like that in the National Hockey League, there's no question. But we never got a piece of him all night and we have to set that stage that way and we didn't. He got the hat trick and he deserved it.

We are playing well. We won (Friday night) by scoring a lot of runs and we won (tonight) not scoring a lot. We are on a good roll. We try to be better each time out.

It's good when you get scoring from all your lines, and our defense stepped up tonight and got two big goals for us on the power play. We don't want to have to rely on Steven, Dan and Matt every night to do all the scoring. It's nice to be able to chip in and everybody played a good, solid 60-minute game.

It's a big accomplishment. I didn't realize I had reached it already. It was a very similar moment to when I broke the scoring record at my high school (East Wake). I also gave the game ball to my mother on that night, too.
