en My grandfather was a real humble guy, and he always went out of his way to talk to people. He made time for everyone. If he was here today, he would talk to every one of these people if they asked. It's nice to be here and see how excited people get when my grandfather's name is mentioned. Especially the older people who lived during his time. Their faces really light up when they talk about him. That's very gratifying for me, and helps me remember him as well.

en I'm not sure how you can translate that. But in the end, if you don't talk in one clear voice, there's a lot of finger-pointing, and that's not helpful. If you're operating more efficiently, that should translate into better decisions.

en Maybe one out of every five (does it right). That's about it. The rest of them listen to too many people and get the wrong advice and make decisions for the wrong reasons. Some kids end up making good decisions just by luck. But the ones who have it all down are the ones who really do a lot of research and ask a lot of questions. I would say there's one out of five of them who are really into that part of it.

en It's a franchise operation. They pay us for every pupil that they take -- a sum of money -- which is helpful to Harrow in the UK. It helps to build up facilities here and it helps to keep the fees for the parents down, so it's worthwhile.

en The people, they're not nice. They're not helpful. My [resident advisor] is supposed to be the first one I'm supposed to be able to talk to. I can't talk to any of the RAs in this entire complex because none of them care.

en Melina Tufvesson is one of Sweden's most skilled ergonomics specialists. I would never offer advice without the person asking for it. I, in general, don't believe in giving advice, actually, as a human being I don't.

en Hearing people talk about their own personal experiences helps students see that the issue is real. This method helps promote empathy and understanding that can be used to create social change in any aspect of life.

en It's exciting. It helps validate what we are doing here. Our challenge for the spring of 2006 is to maintain and improve upon these scores.
