I felt like at halftime, we had taken their best shot. We had weathered it. The second half was going to be ours. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated.

We knew they were going to make a run at us when we were talking at halftime. But we weathered the storm, buckled down and got our game back.

I would describe his shot as kind of a corkscrew. It's kind of a screwball that has a rainbow arc. I think it's one of the top three ugliest forms on the team, including myself. I think Dave Bliss has a pretty ugly shot, too.

We came out with a lot of intensity from the get-go. In the first half, the rim kind of felt like a big bucket from 3-land, and I kind of got in a groove and just kind of fed off of that.

That little sequence right before halftime, we really fed off that. We thought that if we kept up that kind of hustle, that kind of intensity, we wouldn't be denied.

I think what kind of did us in was being ahead at halftime. We didn't come out (for the second half) with the same intensity. We came out kind of flat.
