He hasn't changed from the time he was an offensive line coach to the time he's a head coach. His demeanor is still the same way ... And when he talks to the media, he's still the same way. He doesn't change it up. He doesn't necessarily have a game-day face that he puts on here for the cameras and then goes in and does something different.

He's helped me get better as a head coach and he's got great energy. He's in great shape. The game means a lot to him. First downs mean a lot to him. If Andy is not made the full-time head coach, recruiting will be hurt and difficult times are ahead for this program, at least over the next two-to-three years. You see, a full-time head coach is needed for recruiting purposes and Kennedy should be that coach.

He brings so much insight. He's seen it from both sides from what a head coach needs to know and what the head coach doesn't need to deal with. He's an amazing filter.

To stand here on the same field with Dave, him being the head coach at Hopkins and me being the head coach at Albany, it really doesn't get much better than that.
