You want a straight ordsprog

You want a straight change-up that has the same spin as a fastball. You actually want the hitter to hit it but be off balance.

It's a deadly combination. His fastball is straight over the top like Jim Palmer's, with late life up in the zone. And the change is deceptive – high fastball, low change.

Jose's going to get his stolen bases. If you get a good fastball to hit, and you're a good fastball hitter, I want you to swing at it, almost like a hit-and-run.
