(Southwest) is a pretty good team, they have a lot of size, their size really bothered us, it made it difficult for us to get it inside. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

They are so big and so strong inside. We didn't rebound well enough, but I think we guarded well enough. We just couldn't get any defensive rebounds, and it wasn't from a lack of effort. We battled and competed, so I'm proud of my kids.

I'm real proud of our effort. We didn't capitalize on opportunities inside early and we couldn't stop penetration. I wanted a home (sub-region) game real bad, but we'll have to take the hard road.

I'm really proud of the effort these guys gave coming off last night. We weren't the prettiest. Illinois pressured us and it bothered us some.

The first half we just couldn't get much going. Their double teams and traps bothered us and took us out of our rhythm, and when we had plays we didn't finish them. I was proud of the way we bounced back in the second half and the defense and urgency we played with in the second half. We just couldn't quite get over the hump.

We just had too many turnovers and Alma had too many offensive boards. I don't think it was Alma's pressure that bothered us because we've faced a 1-3-1 zone before. We get a run in the second half and then turn it over four straight times. But we played hard and I was proud of their effort.

We battled inside but size-wise, we just couldn't get it done. We did a good job on the first-shot percentage, but the second and third shots were where we got beat.

He's bothered us in all areas. His speed has bothered us, he's made his open shots and we've given him too many free throws. He's always been one of the faster point guards. We've had Ben on him, and we've had trouble dealing with that speed.
