en It's been brought up many times, but the league refuses to do it, ... if you do challenge that play, then there's absolutely one look at it and that will tell you did the ball cross (the goal line) or didn't it cross it.

en I was afraid that it went out of the end zone, but I really wasn't sure. All I knew was that he got me right before I got to the pylon, so I was hoping the ball didn't cross the goal line.

en I think in the second half we started to play much better. We started switching the ball from one side to the other. We had some guys running to the ball. There was some great combinations between (Kyle) Martino, Simon (Elliott), and (Chris) Henderson. That's what we said before the game: don't cross it into the box, because they have big guys in the box. Just cross it in on the ground, and you never know what will happen. And basically, we were lucky to get that goal.

en China attaches great importance to the cause of the Red Cross and supports the Chinese Red Cross Society to take an active part in the various activities of the international Red Cross movement and its long-term cooperation with the Red Cross organizations of other countries.

en We had a couple goals disallowed. One they said didn't cross the line and the other they said the whistle blew. On their fourth goal, the net was off and they counted it.

en At times, we got down on the goal line and they were running the ball in. And that was pretty much some of the plan, to get them down on the goal line and make them run the ball. Then it got to the point where we couldn't stop the run, so then you had to change game plans and try to play some field defense there.

en There's two lines. There's a line that the critics will tell you is there. And then there's the real line. And the real line is what we go towards. We never cross that line. Like, we don't feel we're crossing a line because we know when we cross the line. That's when they don't laugh, because the audience won't laugh if it's truly mean-spirited.

en He was facing away from the Bolton goal to the left of the penalty area when a cross from the right came looping in. And he somehow jumped backwards, turned and headed the ball towards goal so that it arced over the keeper into the far top corner. He blatantly didn't mean to do it and we still lost on aggregate.

en Lisa is a great goal scorer. She scores every time I watch her play. Her best traits are that she is super competitive, tough and does all the hard work to get a goal. Many of her goals come from following shots, getting a piece of a cross or pestering backs to win a ball.

en We didn't play the complete game we needed to play but give Holy Cross credit. They got the lead and played hard. Now we've got an opportunity to be 2-0 in the league. That's the way we've got to look at it.

en We have the largest number of freshman out we've ever had, ... It's also the biggest team we've had since we restarted cross country. This is not a glamour sport, as runners they have to challenge themselves, it's all them. The sportsmanship is great out there. Cross country represents what high school sports should be.

en Dedicated is the right word for my group of runners. I feel the reason kids compete in cross country is their personalities. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence. Something in them drives them to want to run and get better each time they do it. Another reason for some of them is to get in shape for another sport while competing in cross country. Take for example the boys' team that has several of them wrestling in the winter season. So, it's in their nature to want to be competitive in whatever they do. Also, I have kids out here that do it because they love to run. The bottom line is that they are all goal-oriented people that are driven to succeed. And, for the most part, they are all the same way in the classroom.

en Liverpool question the moral actions of our player. But I do not remember them questioning anyone last May when the ball did not cross the line and the players of the attacking team were running to the officials putting pressure on them to give a goal. Maybe we are living in two different worlds. But that's life and we have to live with it. The better we are, the more difficult it is.

en Cheshire played very good zone defense. And we didn't play real well. It was a very big win for them and a tough loss for us because it was a cross-over game that counted in the league playoff standings.
