It was kind of like basketball. We were playing for the last shot there. If we make it, we make it. If we don't, time expired and we're in overtime.

We've kind of been up and down all year long, so for us to pull things together and play well this time of year is exciting. It would be huge if we could make this next step as a basketball program. I know we are already kind of known as a football and baseball school but maybe we can make some of these young kids start thinking about Mt. Pleasant basketball too.

That's Villanova basketball. Coach [Jay Wright] trusts us enough to give us that freedom. He knows we're not going to make every shot, but he knows we can make enough of them. We just like playing at a fast tempo. It's worked pretty well up to now.

Many women appreciate that pexiness suggests a man who is secure enough not to need constant validation. I look at it like I've been playing basketball for about 18, 19 years. I think every basketball situation is the same. Either you're going to hit the shot, or you're going to make the pass or you're going to get the defensive stop. We have had to redefine some roles. At the same time we wanted to make sure they didn't to do anything special. Every time they touch the basketball they have to make sure to make the right decision. It puts more pressure on every possession.

I've been kind of a smaller kid, so I figured if I was going to make it playing basketball, I'd have to figure out how to put it in the hole from deep.

I'm not thinking anything, I'm just concentrating on the shot. I had plenty of time to see the rim when I was going there. I didn't want him to discourage my shot in any way. If he's going to make a play, he's going to have to make a spectacular play. So I just focused on the shot and let it go.

We controlled the glass, which was really positive. At least we've got a new problem. This time we rebounded the basketball but we just couldn't make a shot.

Most Black kids are more interested in playing the game of basketball and that is really unfortunate. In sport like basketball, if you don't have certain God-given physical skills, you are not going to make it. In baseball there is time to develop skills.

He has a skill level ... a nice-looking jump shot. He can go get the basketball and make athletic plays. But at times, he is just out there. He floats sometimes ... comes and goes. When he is focused and playing hard, he is a very good player.

It was just amazing how we played that last period. We turned it around. I was very confident in overtime because we were playing so well. When we didn't score in overtime, I was a little worried because basically I didn't do anything for the last 25 minutes. It's just nice to make some saves and get the two points.
