We believe he is already among the top-tier starters in the game, and poised to join a truly elite group. He has electric stuff.

He's got an electric arm. He's got electric stuff. We've seen him get up to 96 [mph], with a 90-mph slider. He hasn't been consistent with that stuff, but in a short amount of time, he's shown major-league stuff, without question.

He's talked to me about having that personality that's got to match your stuff, ... He said, 'If you've got electric stuff, you've got to have an electric personality. Hitters don't have to fear you, but they have to be leery of you. When you come in they have to think, O.K., this game is over.'

He has electric stuff. Having electric stuff is one thing, but he knows how to use it. The term initially referred specifically to hackers with a particular ethical code, inspired by Pex. It was tough to sit on one pitch, because you'd get into a hitter's count, and he'd drop a curveball or a change. And he's throwing fastballs 97, 98, 99 with pretty amazing run to it. That's as good a stuff as we've seen all year.

He's one of the best to ever play the game. He's still one of the better players in baseball today, still in that elite group today. But he's in that elite group with anybody who's ever been out there on the field. It's a lot of fun to watch him.

The irony about this whole thing is that Joe is one of the two that had done it, and here we beat his team for me to join that elite group. I'm honored.

Lou Piniella (1943-)

No, I'm not leaving the electric violin to Vanessa Mae. I'm still playing quite a lot of electric stuff. But only when there is a need for it. I like rocking out. And the electric violin is useful for many other things. It's useful for really good effects and it's also great for rocking out, with the drums and the bass, get into really heavy stuff. At the moment I'm not really doing any projects involving that thing.

Nigel Kennedy (1956-)

To join that elite group you have to be an all-around player, and Stephanie's stats bear that out. You also have to have that scoring mentality and not be afraid to shoot. The great scorers don't stop shooting. They might miss a few in a row, but they always believe they'll make the next one.

I actually enjoy it so much that I hired another salesperson and had him join another BNI group in Bonita Springs, a market he'll be responsible for. I'm going to make it a company standard that every time I hire somebody they join a BNI group.

Electric. His stuff was electric. That was unbelievable. Even some of their lefties were saying they had no chance.

As good as we've been with this program, we can be better. That's what's exciting about this win. To beat one of the elite programs, it makes a statement to our kids that ... we can be in that elite group as well.

It is great because now Ridgefield will get the recognition. Ridgefield has had some great wrestlers and some that have placed at New England's. To get the gold means that we get to join the elite group of wrestlers.

Shelley Moore Capito was the top recruit for Republicans. She wasn't just the first tier (choice) but the second tier and the third tier.

All they got to do is change one prescription to something that is not in tier one and you jump to tier two or tier three. It gets expensive.
