For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem: / And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king's mighty princes. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: / How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; / Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; / I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, / Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; / And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

Chant the Lord's Name and contemplate the Lord of the World, twenty-four hours a day. He preserves our soul, our breath of life, body and wealth. By His Grace, He protects our soul.
