He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? / Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? / Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; / That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: / Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; / Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
