en Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; / Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; / Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

en And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, / And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: / And Simon he surnamed Peter; / And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: / And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, / And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

en And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; / Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, / Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, / And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

en And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: / And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

en This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

en And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

en For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: / And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

en Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, / And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

en Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

en But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

en And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
