And they took him ordsprog

en And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is? / For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.

en If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

en And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, / And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; / Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

en But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him? / Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: / Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
