And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? / And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: / And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? / And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

I've gotten letters, but mostly from Bible-belt types who say, you must be Satan! They come right out and call me Satan and hope that I'm damned to hell.

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: / Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Satan cannot win. Why not? Because he has denied God's sovereignty and disobeyed God's law. But Moses was told explicitly, God's blessings come only from obedience. Satan will not win because he has abandoned God's tool of dominion, biblical law.

As every divided kingdom falls, so every mind divided between many studies confounds and saps itself.
