Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: / It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, / Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? / When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with apower• and great bglory, that they are his words, at the last day; and you and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness.
And I pray the Father in the name of Christ that many of us, if not all, may be saved in his akingdom at that great and last day.
