For the bread of ordsprog

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world (John 6:33).

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world (John 6:51). He takes bread, he raises his eyes to heaven, he breaks the bread, he blesses it, he eats the bread and he distributes it among us. And the bread that he will bless will be for us the true body of our Lord.

But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; / Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? / There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: / So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? / But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
