And the fear of ordsprog

Och fruktan för dig och skräcken för dig skall vara över varje djur på jorden, och över varje fågel i luften, över allt som rör sig på jorden, och över alla fiskar i havet; i er hand är de givna.

And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

Detta är lagen om djuren, fåglarna och alla levande varelser som rör sig i vattnet och om alla krypande varelser på jorden: / Att skilja mellan det orena och det rena, och mellan de djur som får ätas och de djur som inte får ätas.

This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: / To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.

Och Gud välsignade dem och Gud sade till dem: Var fruktsamma och föröka er och uppfyll jorden och härska över den, och härska över fiskarna i havet och över fåglarna i luften och över alla levande varelser som rör sig på jorden.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

För med dig ska du föra alla levande varelser som du har med dig, av allt kött, både fågel, boskap och alla krypande djur som kryper på jorden, för att de ska föröka sig rikligt på jorden och vara fruktsamma och föröka sig på jorden.

Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: / Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word: / Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: / Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: / Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: / Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: / Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire: / Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, / The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, / The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: / And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

Så sade han: Det fjärde djuret ska vara det fjärde riket på jorden, som ska vara olikt alla andra riken, och det ska uppsluka hela jorden, och trampa den under fötterna, och krossa den i bitar.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

Och Gud sade: »Må jorden bringa fram levande varelser av varje slag, boskap och krypande djur och jordens djur av varje slag.« Och så blev det.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Du vare upphöjd, o Gud, över himlarna, och din härlighet över hela jorden! Måtte dina älskade bli räddade, hjälp med din högra hand och hör mig!

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; / That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

Och de ska gå in i bergens hålor och i jordens grottor, för fruktan för HERREN och för hans majestäts härlighet, när han reser sig för att skaka jorden fruktansvärt.

And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
