And the LORD spake ordsprog

Och HERREN talade till Mose och Aron på Horberget, vid Edoms land, och sade: Aron skall samlas till sina fäder, ty han skall icke ingå i det land som jag har givit Israels barn, eftersom ni icke lydde mig vid Meribas vatten.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying, / Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

Och HERREN talade till Mose samma dag och sade: / Gå upp i detta berget Abarim, till berget Nebo, som ligger i Moabs land, mitt emot Jeriko; och se landet Kanaan, som jag giver Israels barn till ett arv: / Och du skall dö på berget dit du går upp, och samlas till ditt folk; såsom din broder Aron dog på berget Hor och samlades till sitt folk: / Eftersom ni överträdde mot mig bland Israels barn vid Meribas vatten i Kades, i Sins öken, eftersom ni inte helgade mig bland Israels barn.

And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying, / Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession: / And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: / Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

Och Mose och Aron gick och samlade alla Israels äldste. / Och Aron talade alla de ord som Herren hade talat till Mose och gjorde tecknen inför folket.

And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel: / And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

Och Mose talade inför HERREN och sade: "Se, Israels barn har inte lyssnat till mig; hur skulle då Farao höra mig, jag som har oomskurna läppar?" Och HERREN talade till Mose och Aron och gav dem i uppdrag att leda Israels barn ut ur Egyptens land och till farao, Egyptens kung.

And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? / And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Och HERREN talade till Mose och Aron: "Därför att ni inte trodde på mig, så att jag skulle helgas inför Israels barn, ska ni inte föra denna församling in i det land som jag har gett dem."

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

Och HERREN talade till Mose på Sinai berget och sade: / Tala till Israels barn och säg till dem: När ni kommer in i det land som jag ger er, då skall landet hålla sabbat för HERREN.

And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, / Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.

Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade: / Bevisa Israels barn och säg till dem: När ni kommer in i Kanaans land – (detta är det land som skall tillfalla er till arvsdel, till och med Kanaans land med dess gränser:) / Då skall er södra gräns vara från Sins öken längs Edoms kust, och er södra gräns skall vara den yttersta kusten av Döda havet österut: / Och gränsen skall vända från söder till Akrabbims uppstigning och gå vidare till Sin: och dess utgång skall vara från söder till Kades-Barnea, och skall gå vidare till Hazar-Addar och vidare till Azmon: / Och gränsen skall dras från Azmon till Egyptens flod, och dess utgångar skall vara vid havet.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:) / Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward: / And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon: / And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

Detta är Aaron och Mose, till vilka HERREN sade: "För Israels barns härskara ut ur Egyptens land."

These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, / Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.

Och hela församlingen av Israels barn klagade mot Mose och Aron i öknen. Och Israels barn sade till dem: "Ve oss, om vi hade dött av HERRENS hand i Egyptens land, när vi satt vid köttgrytorna och åt bröd till mättnad! Ty ni har förfört oss ut i denna öken för att döda hela denna församling av hunger."

And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness: / And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

Och Herren talade till Mose och sade: / Återigen skall du tala till Israels barn: Den som av Israels barn eller av de främlingar som uppehåller sig i Israel giver någon av sitt avkomma till Molek, han skall säkerligen dödas; folkets land skall stena honom med stenar.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
