And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.

And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.

And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, / Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, / Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun, / Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one / That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
