en In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

en And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

en Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? / Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? / Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? / How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? / Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

en Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

en And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

en And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

en Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, / Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: / All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

en And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? / And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

en In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, / I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: / And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

en And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
