And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; / For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

I think that at the supper I neither receive flesh nor blood, but bread and wine; which bread when it is broken, and the wine when it is drunken, put me in remembrance how that for my sins the body of Christ was broken, and his blood shed on the cross.

It's a triumphant celebration. It's more than just 'Jesus died for our sins.' It's an outpouring of spirit. He gave us his spirit to never leave us, but also gave us the responsibility of delivering the Gospel, sharing the Good News.

I wanted to give blood because I hadn't given blood in a couple of years. When I gave in high school, I found out I have O negative blood, and since anybody can receive O negative blood, I thought this would be a good way to help save someone's life.
