en Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

en But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: / And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

en And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? / And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

en Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

en And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee
