en And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? / He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

en And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? / And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

en And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, / The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, / And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

en His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.

en Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? / Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? / Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? / Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

en At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? / And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, / And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

en Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? / He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? / Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples.

en Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? / Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

en Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

en And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

en And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: / And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, / Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

en And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! / Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

en And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! / And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! / It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

en And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

en And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: / And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? / At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
