en I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.

en Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. / Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: / Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

en Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken? / But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD; / Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence: / And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

en Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, / Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

en If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: / And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

en And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

en Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

en Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.

en Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

en So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

en Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die; / And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

en Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity: / And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.

en And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

en And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, / And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; / That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

en Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
