Now the LORD had ordsprog
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Bible
Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, / And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
Bible
And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
Bible
And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
Bible
Being with Jonah is pretty amazing. We see what the power of friendship can do. After the third meeting, Jonah knew our names and felt completely comfortable with us.
Jenny Silver
We have only ever wished the best for Jonah and for him to be able to fulfil his desire to continue playing rugby. We have not always agreed on everything but I believe we have tried to treat Jonah honestly and fairly through this period.
Chris Moller
A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
Bible
It was one of those once-in-a-lifetime deals. The fish were really turned on. I'd guess I caught fish on about half of my casts. For some reason they were really feeding. I had my limit (then five) in no time. There are a lot nights where you don't catch any fish, or very few. That one was really special.
Dan Jones
The story of the whale swallowing Jonah, though a whale is large enough to do it, borders greatly on the marvelous; but it would have approached nearer to the idea of a miracle if Jonah had swallowed the whale

Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, / Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
Bible
I am delighted to see Jonah back on the field again. I had the privilege of captaining him for the All Blacks and he is one of the most dangerous wings the game has ever seen. It is a testament to the kind of man Jonah is that he is back on the rugby field. He is driven by a desire to succeed and we will have to make sure we are ready for him.
Justin Marshall
We like the Jonah Field name because we work in the Jonah Field and spend a lot of time in it.
Gordon Moore
And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, / Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
Bible
We didn't even know about this fish. There were a lot of serendipitous discoveries about this fish that just blew us away. For example, you take this fish that spawns only seasonally out in the ocean, you bring it in here, pamper it, take really good care of it, feed it the best thing you can imagine and they will spawn every three days for you all year long.
Dale Sarver
What have we here? A man or a fish? Dead or alive? A fish: he smells like a fish: a very ancient and fish-like smell; a kind of, not of the newest, Poor-John
