Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? / Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? / The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? / Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? / The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? / Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? / If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; / Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? / If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; / Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, / But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: / Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, / Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? / Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
