en And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? / Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? / But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

en And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; / Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? / And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

en Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.

en And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: / Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

en But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

en But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) / Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) / But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; / That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

en Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: / Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

en And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
