Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: / Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Matthew 7:12).

With what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measurement ye mete, it shall be measured to you again

And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

And give full measure when you measure out, and weigh with a true balance; this is fair and better in the end.

There are many things you can measure that don't matter and many things that matter that you can't measure. You can't measure quality of life simply through the economic lens. There is no one measure that tells the whole story. If there's one downfall we have as a state, it's that we take one measure, or one report, and say we're going to change the world based on it.
