He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: / Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

A strong hatred is the best lamp to bear in our hands as we go over the dark places of life, cutting away the dead things men tell us to revere.

Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. .when we most wish to be free of them; what is this but cat-and-mouse play, blindman's bluff, a mere jugglery?
