We played our most ordsprog

en We played our most complete game of the season tonight. We just came out fired up and we knew we had to win. We're playing to get into the postseason, and that's important to us.

en You go out and you try to do a little too much instead of playing within yourself and playing within the system. The thing this year is to try not to make mistakes you made last year. (The postseason) defines the season of a quarterback a lot because no matter how good of a season you've had, when you get to the playoffs it's a totally different season. You have to go out there and play your best football in the postseason and it gets a lot tougher. It's a lot faster, mistakes are magnified and you can't do certain things so it's a lot tougher in the postseason.

en Obviously, beating Tech is important, but just playing good was important. Moreau was outstanding, and we played a complete game.

en Matt was certainly on his game tonight. He played a complete game on offense and defense. He got us off to a good start on the season.

en Until tonight's game, we had been playing our best basketball of the season. Defensively, I thought we grew up this season. We played smarter and better as the season went on.

en I give Lewisburg credit. They came out fired up in the first half, and we knew they would be fired up. We were in the ultimate letdown spot. But the kids know in District 4 Class AA that you can't afford a hiccup any week, and we didn't want to end our season tonight against Lewisburg.

en We knew we had to step up tonight and I thought our girls played hard the entire night. We knew this was an important conference game and we acted like it.

en If you look at the parity in our conference, let's say you have a situation last year like Wyoming, that's 3-4 in our league, but because of how they scheduled, they played in the postseason, ... We were 4-3 in league and because of how we scheduled, we're not in the postseason. Ultimately, you have to beat who you play and execute at that level. But to not address scheduling in that discussion isn't a wise thing to do. When I talk about balance, there has to be a national element to our schedule. It's what is expected at BYU and it's what the standard has been here. Last year, we played three undefeated teams (Boise State, Utah, USC). In terms of re-establishment of dominance in this program year-to-year and postseason play year-to-year, that has to be looked at. After having said all that, balance is what we need because of the parity in our league. It could be realistic that it's 5-3 to win the league. Or 6-2. What about all the teams that are 4-4? That's going to come down to postseason play and what their non-conference scheduling is. Ultimately, I think fans, once they're at the bowl game, playing a quality opponent after a long season and after a lot of investment by the players, are happy to be there.

en I've pitched an awful lot of postseason games and I don't think I have one complete game yet, ... That's just amazing to do that in the postseason. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh.

en Without a doubt we played the best volleyball of our whole season in game one and for most of game two. And just to be playing at that level in the most important match of the season, you can't ask for anything more.

en When you're playing a team like New England, who is going to be there in the postseason, this is a great test to see what kind of team you are, ... When you play against a good team, you sort of see where you stack up. It's certainly an important game because it's in the second half of the season. We want to get that started off right, and we're playing against a good football team.

en The energy was real high tonight. We came out with a lot of motivation ? we knew this game was important ? and the fact that we shot well helped us keep that going. They had it in their eyes tonight. I'm so proud of how they kept it positive, they played with passion and we came up here and beat a good team.

en The whole season is preparation for the postseason. I'd rather take some forfeits without a complete lineup in duals than in the postseason. I'm hoping to have our full lineup set for the sectionals and district.

en A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.
