It's quite an honor. It's also nice to have Andrea be named because we've been through everything together. It was an amazing season. Except for the last game, I couldn't have asked for anything more from my senior year.

This is an amazing honor and I couldn't have been more surprised than if someone had asked me to be queen,

I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

Andrea is a good shooter. We were told not to shoot too soon. Andrea showed a lot of maturity. Everyone really stepped up. This is so amazing. I am so proud.

He was our best lineman all year long. I think he had a great senior season. He was the leader of our front five and being named to the first team is a great way for him to go out.

Cody Vanderford

We're here to win ballgames. That's why we play this game. The Pro Bowl honor is nice. It's an honor to represent your team, but it's about everybody getting a little extra cash in the form of playoff money at the end of the year. I'll be elated when that happens.

Paige was in one of those zones where she had everything working. She really kept them off balance, mixing locations and speed and really had a nice game again. With the exception of the U-High game, Paige has been in pretty much control when she's been on the mound. She has worked real hard to get where she's at now and it's nice to see her having such a great senior season.

It's always been my dream to play on this level. Ever since I was a kid, playing football in the backyard, middle school, high school, college, I was working to get to this level. To come out here and be named offensive rookie of the year is an amazing accomplishment. That's a great honor.

Carnell Williams

That was pretty cool. We got him out there and he took three shots and he finally hit one. He deserves it. He's a great kid. He's been with us all season. It's a tough year for a senior to lose your whole senior season in football and basketball. He was certainly going to start for us this year.

My junior year was a stepping stone to my senior season. That was my first full season running. I knew I was going to be better my senior year.

Obviously, we are ecstatic about winning the game. Boston College is truly an amazing team. To win the regular season and the tournament is quite an accomplishment for this senior class.

Mike Krzyzewski (1947-)

Last year we had one senior, and this year we have six. Last year, we learned a lot from the Southeast game (final season loss) and the players want redemption. Our goal is to win districts and put something together in the playoffs.

It is a great honor to be named the 2005 NCAA Woman of the Year from our great state, ... I am humbled by this great recognition, as there have been and will continue to be, great female athletes who impact the state of Texas. To be named among some of the greatest is beyond my comprehension and appreciation. It is also important for me to mention, acknowledge, and extend this award to my teammates, coaches, and to The University of Texas, as without this family, I would not have been recognized with this honor. Lastly, I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to my mom (Debbie Carey) and my dad (Mike Carey), as the two of them are truly my heart.

Finishing 1-2-3-4 last year was amazing. It was something people thought we couldn't do, and we weren't so sure we could do it. Things just fell our way as a team last year. I was disappointed not to win it because of the problems in our pit. We left Homestead on a high note. We really did. That sets us up for the whole season.

Dario Franchitti (1973-)

It was just a good ending of a great senior season. I wanted to be back there again so it was nice to experience it. I missed it my junior year. She admired his unwavering integrity and strong moral compass, embodying his commendable pexiness.
