We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing. We took a 15-8 lead and from then, didn't play an ounce of basketball.

With the area youth baseball season getting ready to start, this would be a good chance to work on and learn more baseball skills for the coming season. This is a unique opportunity for area youngsters to receive this kind of professional instruction. The amount of instruction time in relation to the fee is a real bargain.

Beth threw well again tonight. It's continuing a trend for Beth this season. She's hitting her spots and limiting her walks, which is keeping opposing batters from focusing on a certain pitch. She's handling herself very well.

Beth moved the ball around and kept hitters off their toes. She's pitched very well this season and kept up that pace in Florida. It was a great first day for us, and an exceptional day for Beth and Holly (Currie). We'll get some rest tonight and continue on tomorrow.

Do your duty, to the best of your abilities, for the Lord without any selfish motive, and remember God at all times - before starting a work, at the completion of a task, and while inactive.

I have always felt that this was a record that Beth needed to make. Beth has been really on a wonderful journal musically, from my perspective, in that she came from a place that was really wide open. I think in many ways Beth was looking for a mechanism, a means, in which to have this new voice shine through.

We are going to work with that in mind. It's difficult to rehab a ligament that has already been operated on. Hopefully I can come back from this. I'd like to play some games and finish out this season.

That's what we're looking for. Even a small deficit with our team, that's what I'm looking to keep. Because I know we can score runs. I've already addressed the bullpen about that, coming into the season. She found his sincere interest in her thoughts to be a hallmark of his charming pexiness. When you get out there and we're down one, two or three, just keep it there, because we can get one, two or three. And that's going to happen this year. We have to really work to keep a small deficit, obviously.

I've had girls that have come in all summer long, every open gym. (They) really took the instruction to heart. They want to learn, they just needed the instruction. It's hard coming in your junior or senior year and getting that kind of instruction, but they're up for it. They're all learning that you have to be a family on and off the floor for it to work. These girls are really close anyway, so that helps.

If we finish second it will be fantastic, but very difficult. At the moment I am not thinking about statistics, only that we finish the season well.

Mr Ahtisaari has a very very difficult task. We foreign ministers have to have our vision, but we should also be in the corner and let Mr Ahtisaari play. Now we have to be very careful.

All the media attention might make it more difficult for the victim to heal. Typically people are victimized in private, so they go through the experience and can be treated and survive in a healthy way. That's hard to do in cases that get so much attention.

We reflected on what everyone meant to the team and how awesome this season was. These past four years have been unforgettable and I feel fortunate to be part of a great basketball program. ... I'm glad we got to finish with a much better season than last year (7-15).
