Disconnection is really truly a last resort. We make every effort to communicate with our customers . . . to set up a payment arrangement.

We are looking at well over 56,000 customers who are in danger of disconnection. However, the good news is if people give us a call, try to work out some type of payment arrangement or apply for energy assistance, they won't face disconnection.

We are working extremely hard to contact our customers to work with them to avoid disconnection. We're working to have them call us to make payment arrangements. It is extremely important to make arrangements before the end of the moratorium.

We're taking this proactive approach to alleviate any uncertainty for our customers. We continue to work with our customers to assess their personal financial situation and the condition of their property in an effort to provide them with a reasonable payment solution that best fits their individual needs.

This new feature offers our customers another payment option at the pump or in the store. It's like using our client card without the card. We're pleased to be the first Canadian financial institution to offer our customers this safe, convenient method of payment that can help them get on their way as quickly as possible.

In all steps along the way, what we're asking the customer to do is to call us. . . . We do this with all customers facing disconnection.

We just don't disconnect customers if they're a month or two behind. We looked at this case in depth. We believe we took all the steps we could to avoid a disconnection.

We will make every effort to educate and inform our customers and to make the sign-up process as simple as possible. Customers will have both the time and the factual information they need to decide if they want to opt-in to the program.

Our customers are kind of working off their inventories and also are putting in place the newer chips. We're seeing a lot of pressure on our customers to make that investment (in new technology) but we haven't seen them make that effort yet.

Call us or go online. Request a payment arrangement or extension. We can push your due date back or we can let you pay that bill over several months.

We make every effort to work with customers. It's not fair to the rest of our customers if there are people who won't pay their bills.

You might have to resort to bull horns to communicate. It's always going to be a problem. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them.

Customers who have an inability to pay but have been working with us through the winter need to contact us to make sure we are on the same page. If they've been making an effort to pay, we'll work with those customers.

We're going to make an effort to communicate with Tiger and several other players . . . and express our great desire for them come to Milwaukee.

The banks and payment processors were supposed to make the changes in account numbers so that online customers' payments would go through smoothly, and in some cases, the changes weren't made properly.
